  • Ichimoku Kinko Hyo

A technical analysis tool developed in Japan in the 1930s by Goichi Hosoda. 'Ichimoku' means 'one look', as this method can, at a glance, provide users with the state of the current market, its momentum and sentiment, as well as project future support and resistance. Ichimoku Kinko Hyo is composed of several indicators and often intimidates new users, while it is a straightforward and concise tool to use. It is recognised mainly by the distinct 'clouds' on the chart.
