CME Berencana Luncurkan Perdagangan Dalam Kontrak Berjangka Emas untuk Investor Ritel – Commerzbank

CME Group berniat mulai memperdagangkan kontrak berjangka Emas senilai satu ounce mulai pertengahan Januari 2025, catat Carsten Fritsch, analis komoditas di Commerzbank.

Kontrak Berjangka yang Lebih Kecil Lagi untuk Memberikan Pendorong untuk Harga Emas

"Ini dimaksudkan untuk menjawab minat investor ritel yang terus meningkat. Mereka umumnya berinvestasi pada emas batangan dan koin dalam bentuk fisik serta ETF Emas. Investasi dalam kontrak berjangka sejauh ini sulit dilakukan karena tingginya biaya yang harus dikeluarkan. Ini karena kontrak berjangka Emas di Comex memiliki ukuran lot 100 ounce. Untuk itu, saat ini $11.500 harus didepositkan sebagai margin."

"Kontrak berjangka Emas mikro, yang berukuran sepersepuluh ukuran kontrak berjangka Emas konvensional, telah diluncurkan oleh CME pada Oktober 2010 dan mendapatkan permintaan yang kuat ketika harga Emas naik pada bulan September."
