Centeno, ECB: Tingkat Suku Bunga di Kawasan Euro Tetap Bersifat Membatasi

Pengambil kebijakan European Central Bank (ECB) Mario Centeno mengatakan pada hari Jumat bahwa keputusan ECB menurunkan suku bunga acuan sebesar 25 basis poin (bp) "benar-benar konsensual," demikian dikutip dari Reuters.

Centeno mencatat bahwa 'gradualisme' akan menjadi kata yang paling penting untuk pengambilan kebijakan ke depannya, menambahkan bahwa tingkat suku bunga di kawasan Euro tetap bersifat membatasi. "Dalam beberapa kuartal, kita akan melihat normalisasi kebijakan dengan tingkat suku bunga mendekati 2% jika tidak ada guncangan-guncangan lain," katanya.

Reaksi Pasar

EUR/USD tidak menunjukkan reaksi langsung terhadap komentar-komentar tersebut dan terakhir terlihat diperdagangkan di 1,0495, di mana EUR/USD naik 0,25% pada hari ini.
