AS: Harga Produsen Umum Naik di Bawah Estimasi 3,3% YoY pada bulan Desember

Data terbaru dari Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) menunjukkan bahwa Harga Produsen naik 3,3% pada bulan Desember dibandingkan dengan tahun sebelumnya. Ini di bawah ekspektasi 3,4% dan peningkatan yang cukup baik dari kenaikan 3,0% pada bulan November.

Tidak termasuk kategori makanan dan energi yang sering volatil, Harga Produsen naik 3,5% selama dua belas bulan terakhir, sekali lagi berada di bawah prakiraan 3,8% dan melampaui pertumbuhan 3,4% yang terlihat dalam laporan sebelumnya.

Pada basis bulanan, Indeks Harga Produsen (IHP) umum naik 0,2%, sementara IHP inti (tidak termasuk makanan dan energi) tetap datar. Kedua angka tersebut mengecewakan prediksi pasar.

Reaksi Pasar

Dolar AS tidak membuat kemajuan di sekitar 109,50 saat dilacak oleh Indeks Dolar AS (DXY) setelah reaksi awal pada hari Senin dan meskipun mencapai puncak baru siklus di atas batas 110,00.
