GBP mengikuti nada USD yang lebih luas – Scotiabank

Pound Sterling (GBP) terus mengikuti tren yang lebih luas di USD, tanpa adanya perkembangan fundamental besar di dalam negeri, catat Kepala Ahli Strategi Valas Scotiabank, Shaun Osborne. 

GBP mendapatkan kembali beberapa posisi terhadap EUR

"Indeks Harga Rumah RICS turun ke level yang lebih rendah dari yang diperkirakan yaitu 11 pada bulan Februari (dibandingkan dengan 20 yang diprakirakan); RICS menyalahkan meningkatnya ketidakpastian dan lemahnya kepercayaan, dengan kenaikan pajak baru-baru ini dan kemajuan yang lambat dalam pemotongan suku bunga membebani sentimen." 

"Pendekatan pelonggaran hati-hati BoE mendukung GBP, namun, dan dapat membantu GBP mendapatkan kembali sedikit posisi terhadap EUR, dengan pasangan ini menunjukkan tanda-tanda stabil di sekitar area 0,8450 setelah kenaikan tajam di awal Maret." 

"Kerugian ringan untuk GBP meninggalkan perdagangan spot dengan baik dalam kisaran kemarin yang memperpanjang kenaikan GBP menjadi sedikit di bawah 1,30— tertinggi sejak awal November. Tren tetap mendukung GBP pada grafik jangka pendek dan menengah dan GBP seharusnya menemukan support pada penurunan minor menjelang support 1,2910. Resistance adalah 1,30 menjelang dorongan ke 1,3125/50."
