EUR: Sedikit mahal menjelang acara tarif – ING

EUR/USD di 1,084 beberapa hari sebelum AS diperkirakan akan mengumumkan tarif keras terhadap UE adalah bukti dari kecenderungan pasar Valas yang sangat mengedepankan proyeksi ke depan, catat analis Valas ING, Francesco Pesole.

Euro tampaknya menyematkan terlalu banyak optimisme

"Penggerak rally pasangan ini adalah penilaian ulang terhadap ekspektasi pertumbuhan UE berdasarkan pengeluaran fiskal, dan pesimisme terhadap aktivitas AS. Tidak ada dari faktor-faktor tersebut yang didukung oleh data keras hingga saat ini, dan kami tetap enggan untuk mengejar EUR/USD lebih tinggi menjelang pengumuman tarif. Model kami menunjukkan EUR/USD terus diperdagangkan sekitar 0,5% di atas nilai wajar jangka pendeknya, dan pada -155bp, selisih suku bunga swap 2 tahun tetap terlalu lebar untuk membenarkan 1,09-1,10."

"Jelas bahwa untuk penurunan yang berkelanjutan dalam EUR/USD, dolar perlu mendapatkan dukungan domestik melalui stabilisasi data, tetapi euro juga tampaknya menyematkan terlalu banyak optimisme, dan preferensi kami tetap untuk pelemahan pasangan ini dalam beberapa minggu mendatang.
