Perang Dagang AS Tidak Menguntungkan bagi CAD

"Dampak negatif yang parah dari tarif AS terhadap ekonomi Kanada dan harga minyak mentah yang lebih rendah tidak menguntungkan bagi CAD. Survei prospek bisnis Kuartal 1 Bank of Canada (BOC) akan dilaporkan hari ini (15:30 waktu London)."

"Hasil awal dari survei BOC terbaru menunjukkan bahwa ketidakpastian perdagangan sudah mendorong bisnis untuk merevisi turun proyeksi penjualan mereka. Banyak bisnis juga melaporkan mengurangi rencana investasi dan niat perekrutan mereka. Pasar memprakirakan peluang 70% untuk pemangkasan suku bunga kebijakan BOC sebesar 25 bp pada pertemuan berikutnya pada 16 April dan total 75 bp pelonggaran selama 12 bulan ke depan."
