UE menolak anggaran defisit Italia, bersiap untuk konfrontasi - Reuters

Seperti dilansir Reuters, pimpinan Uni Eropa di Brussels menolak anggaran yang diusulkan Italia, pengaturan kedua belah pihak untuk bertarung sengit di masa depan.

"Imbal hasil obligasi Italia melonjak pada langkah belum pernah terjadi sebelumnya oleh eksekutif Uni Eropa yang mengerahkan untuk pertama kalinya kekuatan yang diperoleh pada 2013 setelah krisis utang negara untuk mengirim kembali anggaran negara zona euro yang melanggar buku aturan."

"Komisi sebelumnya telah berurusan dengan Prancis, Spanyol, Portugal, dan pemerintahan Italia sebelumnya yang melanggar peraturan fiskal Uni Eropa, tetapi tidak satu pun dari pelanggaran itu sama mencoloknya dengan rancangan anggaran Italia terbaru, Komisi mengatakan.

"Hari ini, untuk pertama kalinya, Komisi berkewajiban untuk meminta negara kawasan euro untuk merevisi rancangan rencana anggarannya, " kata Wakil Presiden Komisi Valdis Dombrovskis pada konferensi pers.

"Pemerintah Italia secara terbuka dan sadar akan melawan komitmen yang dibuatnya."
